Go north at light (left if coming from west) Travel 1 3/4 miles to Granny Road, make right onto Granny Road, Go past Cousins Paintball field to traffic light (approx 1 mile). Make left onto Mill Road. High Velocity is on your left, less than 1/4 mile down. Enter through gates into parking lot.

The festivities begin at 10:00AM.  However all team members should try to be there no later than 9:00AM.  You need to be there early to register, buy paint, and chrono your marker.  Upon arrival you should go to the registration desk (shack at the end of the parking lot) to fill out your waiver and register.  When you enter the staging area be sure to request that you be on the RED team. Getting there early will help ensure placement on your preferred team.  Dave will be there early and have tables ready in the staging area.  If you get lost or need anything feel free to call Dave's cell.  If you don't have his number email him.

INTEL

Overhead reconnaissance flights have not returned any actionable intelligence as to enemy strength.  However, intercepted chatter seems to indicate the OpFor will be comprised of Clan fighters, GotKills?, space gun toting thugs, and 13 year old boys with ions.  The chatter also indicates that they have all gotten new toys for Christmas and are itching to try them out.  Despite the lack of information on troop numbers, a CIA Global Hawk recon drone did detect new construction taking place.  CIA analysts believe some sort of static defense is being built (castle).  Also, we have learned that the fields have been reconfigured in some way.

Preliminary Intel suggests that we will be joined on the Red Team by Team-Pain, and several High Velocity Regulars.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

As of Thursday, January 18th, the forecast for the 29th is mostly sunny with a high temp of 40*.  While not balmy this is certainly playable weather.  Keep in mind that January in NY can be very unpredictable, and it could easily be anywhere from 50 degrees to 12 degrees.  Your best bet is to keep an eye on the forecast.  As is always the case in cold weather, dress in layers.  Wool is excellent in that even when wet, wool retains heat.  We've all been to HV, and seen how muddy it can get so be prepared...change of clothes, etc.  At this time, no snow is expected, so standard woodland camo will be fine.
