Follow the main access road up between the lifts to the parking area on the hill.

The shooting begins at 10:00AM (a bit later than we are used to = more sleep, or in Joe and Dan's case, more liquor the night before).  However all team members should try to be there no later than 8:30AM (registration begins at 8:00).  You need to be there early to register, buy paint, and chrono your marker.  Upon arrival you should find the registration desk to turn in your waiver and register.  We are going to need a complete headcount on who is going, Aaron will most likely pre-register us, so we all get the $30 advance rate. When you enter the staging area be sure to request that you be on the same team as the rest of the Loaded Crows. Getting there early will help ensure placement on your preferred team.  Dave will be there early and have tables ready in the staging area.  If you get lost or need anything feel free to call Dave's or Aaron's cells.  If you don't have his number email Dave, or email Aaron

WEATHER CONDITIONS:

This forecast can change and we will play RAIN OR SHINE.  You can check the forecast here.  As for what to wear, dress appropriately, you may want to consider long underwear...remember, long pants and sleeves help take some of the sting out.  Even though it will be cooler, remember to bring water/drinks, or cash to buy drinks there.

GAME FORMAT:

Two teams will compete for control of four bases (one base for each team and two "satellite" bases). To control a base a team must raise its flag in that base's flag station. Once a team controls a base, points are awarded for possession every 30 minutes. In addition, once a base is controlled, that team can use that base's radio to communicate with other bases. Players who have been eliminated are returned to the playing field every 20 minutes.

TACTICS:

For those of you who have not attended a scenario game, it is very different from your normal capture the flag recreational game.  This game is decided by three different things, body count, time that your team is in possession of flag stations, and specific missions assigned by the team CO and XO.  The great thing about scenario games is that you can do pretty much whatever you want.  Whether it's playing defense or making a charge for a flag station.  While we try to play together as a team, it is also important for everyone to have a good time...so feel free to charge a bunker, hang back and sling paint, or make a daring move for a flag ala Dan.  It's up to you.  However, I would recommend looking over and familiarizing yourself with some common tactics, as they will be helpful regardless of what your doing..

Special Ops Tactics Guide is an excellent introduction to basic paintball tactics. Also, there are numerous links to  scenario based articles.  Please take a few minutes to check it out.  This site also has some decent information.
