HISTORY
To explain the colorful history of our beloved Loaded Crows, one must begin by examining who we are, and where we come from. Unlike most other paintball teams, we didn't meet on the field.

Early College Days:
It was autumn 1987 at the State University of New York at Albany, and a guy named Brian Wilensky had the grandiose idea of starting a fraternity. He soon found another young man with a similar vision to help him, Mark Brissman. They formed a group at the time 15 strong, and became a Colony of Theta Chi national fraternity on October 13th 1987. At this time, SUNY Albany had a ban on new fraternities. After five years of following Theta Chi's direction, they were still denied a Charter within the national Fraternity. At this time these fine gentlemen decided Theta Chi was not the right fit for the ideals and beliefs they wanted to live their lives by. After this decision was made Marc Wigder and Josh Brodsky went in search of another National Fraternity, they settled upon Alpha Chi Rho, becoming a Colony during the summer of '92. One short semester later, the nationally recognized Charter these men had been seeking for 5 long years was acquired, and the Mu Chi Phi Chapter of Alpha Chi Rho was born on March 20th 1993. The national Fraternity of Alpha Chi Rho began on June 4th, 1895. Since then, the Mu Chi Phi Chapter at SUNY Albany has been granting membership to young Brothers who hail from nearly every walk of life imaginable. Every last one of us firmly believes in the 4 Landmarks and strives to live our lives upholding them, and the principals they dictate.
After College:
Many of us remained close friends, we haven't always lived near each other, but this kind of Brotherhood is never dependant upon geography. Always having been an enterprising young man, and generous with his time, Steve(Zeta Class) began by creating a Yahoo Group to assist the 100+ (alumni at the time) maintain contact with each other in 2002, email lists were just becoming too large. During the early part of 2003 the "Grad Chapter" was born. The Mu Chi Phi Graduate Chapter is for Graduate and Alumni Brothers in good standing of Mu Chi Phi. Our alumni chapter operates in much the same way as the active Chapter. We keep an E-Board, and hold regular meetings and events who are open to all Brothers. The alumni chapter is more alive than ever before, and assists us in remaining friends and maintaining the bonds of brotherhood we formed so many many years ago.
The Team:
The first paintball game for most of us was November 13th, 2004. It was an Alumni Chapter sponsored event. It was cold and at a field on Long Island. Since then, the Alumni chapter has sponsored 2 private games a year to which active Brothers still in Albany attend. Needless to say, we loved the sport, it was an instant hit. The Loaded Crows Scenario Team was the brainchild of four of its founding members: Aaron(Kappa Eta), Dave(Kappa Eta), Rob(Kappa Eta), and Joe(Kappa Eta). The Loaded Crows all reside within the Tri-State area and frequent as many Scenario style games as our Wives, Girlfriends, and Wallets allow. The Crow is the Alpha Chi Rho mascot and after much deliberation, we decided to use it as part of our team name. The rest of the name comes from . . . well, we'll let you keep guessing. We are range in age from 28-34, and with age comes (in *some* cases) maturity. We prefer Scenario/MilSim games, as they generally involve more strategy, planning, and are generally more populated with players like us (read="also old and out of shape"), than other types of paintball games.
